Hi, we are a school that only uses macs - has anyone found a GIS package  that works and is user-friendly? Thanks

From Bob Lang ...
I would strongly recommend using ESRI's ArcGIS Online www.arcgis.com as its got great potential to be used  not just in fieldwork to meet the exam requirements in the free format but its only £100 per yr with the full package that is what you will need. Because its cloud based there is none of the problems with a package that you have to download and install onto all machines. If you want to give it a try and see its potential try a 60 day free trial on the full access so that you can see its potential with the analytical tools and apps that are very useful for fieldwork such as the survey123 app  and teaching with such as esri storymaps. If you want an idea of what it can do look at this sway presentation : https://sway.com/nKEtI-M9Al6MYl-L

Agree with this...
Digimap for Schools also works on any device as it is cloud based...
