« on: October 12, 2012, 10:57:02 AM »
Hi ... does anyone know of a vidoe clip to explain this? I am trying to put together a lesson on flooding in London.
Thanks
Anne

The East Anglian Film Archive might have something useful.

Personally I rather like this 1960s Anglia TV documentary about the flood - http://www.eafa.org.uk/catalogue/205529

The music at the start is classic btw - and if you're not thinking "Live from Norwich, it's the quiz of the week..." at that point then, frankly, you're just too young :-)

There looks to be a bit more stuff on there, although obviously it won't focus that much on London. But then, you know, who cares about London :-)

BBC Suffolk's got some quite good stuff as well btw - http://www.bbc.co.uk/suffolk/dont_miss/floods/index_floods.shtml Old now, but pretty good.

There was a pretty naff series on TV a few years back about a fictional London Flood -  8)

Some proper Norfolk in there as well, which is always nice!
