The perfect KS3 Geogaphy- what would it look like?
« on: May 06, 2012, 09:06:14 AM »
We are going to be giving our KS3n overhaul. I know some changes are a foot, but SLT want to see across the curriculum some links etc. We want to renew our SOW, a lot we are happy with, but year 7 and parts of 8 in particular are somehwat old.

What would you put in your perfect KS3?

Have been giving this some thought as part of the GA's involvement in the new curriculum review.

A few random thoughts - full details will form part of a resource to be available in 2013...

Mission:Explore approaches... Enquiries that are student led
Creative assessments
Landscapes: cultural, physical, extreme and everyday..
Urban Planet: aspects of cities and our increasingly urban world
Map making
