Advice for parents in supporting Geog
« on: March 05, 2012, 01:34:42 PM »

I (wierdly) have some time this week and was thinking of making an A4 flier of advice to parents in supporting their children with Geography.  One flier would be GCSE focussed and the other, more for KS3.

I will upload to 4share when done (or harrass Katharine to help me  ;D) but wondered if anyone had anything to share before I start.  Any top tips???

Muchly thanks. :)

Encouraging their kids to read the paper/watch the news/discuss geography topics with them round the dinner table/TV?

we send out a list of museum/ days out etc that parents can do each month in the newsletter

Probably easier to do this in London though
