Anyone else having difficulty using the new forum with firefox? Firefox wont accept my username and password and I keep having to revert to IE.

I am having difficulty with FF as mentioned on another thread - although it shows my username and password *** it won't let me log in unless I am coming from SLN forum and try again. Haven't tried on IE but don't see why I should have to.

I can log in in FF but it won't leave me logged in.  But same problem in IE.  I don't think it's the cookie thing.

It works fine with Opera. I know that's not an answer to the Firefox question, but generally if it works with Opera it'll work with Firefox and not necessarily the other way round.

Are you up to date with Firefox up dates? After that I'd check preferences for stuff like cookies and whathaveyou.

Its very frustrating.  I can login fine on the homepage, but then as soon as I click to go to the discussions I am logged out.  Now its working and remembers who I am but I don't know what I've done differently.  This is a real pain and is putting me off big time - I can't cope with the frustration - its raising my blood pressure!!!

After a bit of fiddling around with the keyboard (don't ask me what I've done because I don't know) it now works fine.

It's taken me about three attempts previously to log in?

I'm still having to use IE - which works fine.  Can't cope with the issues with Firefox, a real shame as I prefer Firefox and use it for everything else!  Grrr.... ??? ???

I can only log in via the front page using IE7-  the new forum has only been up a few days- I'm sure in time these issues will be sorted by Andy.

I can only say that I've entered my password and username once and it's an absolute breeze to use.

If you don't want to go to IE then try Opera ;-)

Right - well I'm glad it's not just me - in a sense! But also, taking on board Tony's wise words - it'll eventually get sorted. In the meantime I'll keep accessing through IE despite my preference for firefow. Thanks all.
