Indonesian Tsunami DVD
« on: June 03, 2009, 09:05:22 PM »
Does anyone have or know of a good DVD either from the TV or as a video about the Tsunami of 2005. We are re-thinking our scheme of work for Yr 8 and are looking for a suitable interesting visual DVD.

There are several DVDs if you type "tsunami" into an Amazon search.  I have a copy of the BBC one, "The Killer Wave", but haven't watched all of it so can't really recommend it or otherwise.

The BBC killer wave is excellent if you want emotion empathy and death. We use the first 20min with yr 9s to write a piece of poetry about the disaster.
