You put eggshells in your compost, don't you?

Either that or they're thinking soil.

Need to put those commands to use the diagram in bold point 28 next time as well :-)
I loved the words you wrote to me/But that was bloody yesterday

Best one I ever had was.

Name two ways that offshore oil can be brought ashore (2)
Answer: by birds and in nets.
I assumed they meant oil being washed up as slicks affecting seabirds---- as for nets?
Thank goodness for children! The job would be dull otherwise?

Marking external GCSE papers some years ago the question asked for an alternative name for a drainage basin with catchment area as the answer or vice versa.

One candidate's response "Julie"

Seemed reasonable to me but unfortunately no mark - stupid question gets stupid answer  ;D

I've had a few today (and these are 4th Year)...

Big earthquakes don't always have high death tolls because they can happen in sparsely populated areas where there are little people to kill.

The souls of feet are disinfected so that non-native plants are not introduced.

Italy has decreased the retirement age for women so that they can do more around the house and people won't get so tired.

Migration can put stains on a country and its resources.

Argh!
