Geography Job in Oxford
« on: April 25, 2009, 01:41:48 PM »
Due to retirement of a colleague a full time permanent teaching post is going to be advertised in the TES next week.  Cheney School is an 11-19 comprehensive in Oxford with two specialisms that has been rated Good by OFSTED.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and innovative teacher to join a supportive and forward looking department of four.  Geography is a popular and successful subject at GCSE and A level and we also teach World Development at AS/A2 and BTEC Travel and Tourism and the successful applicant would be expected to contribute to the full age range.

This post would suit either an experienced teacher who wanted to gain further experience or a NQT, in either case the post will offer excellent professional development opportunities.

If you are interested then please feel free to e-mail me for more information or to organise a visit to the school – I will post the link to the TES advert when it comes out.
