Resource 6  the development of wind power around the world   USA  Spain  Ghana Denmark India Netherlands – differences in importance of wind  for electricity generation.
1)   Introduce the product cycle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Product_life-cycle_theory
2)   On the SHEET product cycle  label on where these countries are in relation to the model  also refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_energy
3)   Where is the UK in terms of the model (Onshore and offshore)

You will need to have copy of the product cycle that students can annotate. I thought id try to get my students to  mark on the relative position of each of the countries in relation to each other...........   to show level of technological development.  i.e Ghana low level of development... Denmark world leader in offshore wind farms

To his family first, our thoughts are with you.
V Sad news.
DMEs are v hard to put together well, in  recent years they have been interesting and engaging and allowed students to perform to their best. Thats how I can remember Mr Badman professionally.

Resource 7  People objections to wind farm  assess the objections decide which are most plausible /  realistic.
Research the validity of the statements using google.
1) Identify Fact  Opinion  Bias    subjective / objective
2) Complete a Diamond ranking exercise of the objections
