Bury St Edmunds still empty but all covered up and building work taking place, so much speculation.

There have been lots of empty units in the town because of the opening of the 'arc' shopping centre, but despite my (and others) fears we haven't got loads of pound shops.

In Sleaford, Lincolnshire it is 'Yorkshire Trading Company'. In Loughborough Big W is going to be a Tesco in February.

Breaking news... part will be a Tesco Express. As there are very few food shops left in town (apart from M&S, Waitrose and Iceland) it's one of the few occasions that it may be an asset!

Half of the Woodbridge one has opened as a Fatface - which on a cursory glance appears to be a retail outlet selling overpriced clothing

Next time you come up to Aldeburgh you'll find half the high street is now about the same as that. I miss the local shops for local people...

Fat Face seem to be on a spree in the East - Beccles and Southwold recently got branches as well.
