General Discussion / Come and teach Geography in the Isle of Man.
« on: May 09, 2018, 07:41:47 PM »
I know there is a separate section for jobs, but this is a fantastic opportunity to work in the most beautiful part of the British Isles - so I wanted to make sure people saw it!

A Geography Teacher is required at Castle Rushen High School.  This is a permanent post.

We don't have OFSTED.  There is a relocation package for the right candidate.

Here's a picture of the local village - Castletown.  Why wouldn't you want to work here?!

Closing date is 18th May.  Good luck.

We are considering switching to the International A-Level - Cambridge (until now we have always followed AQA).  Does anyone currently teach the International A-Level - what are your opinions on it?  Do universities accept it the same as a regular A-Level?  Thanks.

Just watched the first part of this.  It's highly recommended and is a lot more interesting that Simon Reeve stuff.

I still miss the Bernard Clark's version though.

Comparisons of different health care systems around the world - good for AQA 'A' Level.

Mostly a lot of nonsense I think - but I do agree with the Coventry entry.
