« on: November 04, 2010, 03:24:22 PM »
Hello, I am being observed with Yr 12. I have been teaching Population and intend to do a lesson using a past exam question. I have used past scripts, examiners reports and peer marking before and wondered if anyone had some other ideas on how to do a good yr 12 lesson that could be observed. T :)hanks.

General Discussion / 5000 words
« on: June 17, 2010, 05:32:53 PM »
Hello, one of my yr 12 students is going to do an extended project in Geography. It needs to be something that she can write 5,000 words on, carry out lots of research and be something that could result in a debate. She would also like a topic that could link to Economics. As i have no experience of this, i was wondering if anyone on the forum could come up with some suggestions. Thank you very much.

A growing number of our students are now using Dropbox as an alternative to a memory stick. All you have to do is google dropbox, register online and it is free to use. Students without memory sticks can then send work to and from school really easily. :)

General Discussion / WANTED
« on: July 11, 2009, 06:10:04 PM »
I have got a new year 7 form in September and thought it would be a good idea to have a small post box on my desk so that they could put all the slips and absence notes in there. However i cannot find anything like that anywhere. Please does anyone have any ideas on this or know a website that sells them ? Thanks very much.
