What trends do any esteemed followers of SLN see in the coming exams?

My two yr 11 groups both did a 're mock' and did badly on river hydrographs.

I have a feeling that this kind of question will pop up on paper 1....

Any thoughts for P1 or P2?

Thanks for the link!

Our department may be offering travel and tourism for ks4 next year. If anyone could be so kind to offer me an invite to their school to see how you run the course/resources used/resources that need to be bought, it would be a great help.

I could offer geog resources and cake in return ????

Where?  ;D

Ideal experience for a free spirited Geographer!

I've spent the last seven years teaching English (as a foreign language) abroad, now i'm back in the UK. WOW what a time to come back!

I've had a few interviews, but when i'm up against someone with 5-6-7 years experience in the UK, teaching geography it's difficult to say the least.....!

I've been reading the threads on progress 8, the new levels and the 100's of other changes too!

I'm living in the Notts area now, if any kind souls would like to invite me to their departments/meet up outside of school to talk about all of this stuff, I'd happily repay you in resources (something i'm not short of)  ;D

I wouldn't describe myself as being in my 'twilight years', but I didn't know many of these ^

Maybe the new spec's will have a child friendly translation too.  :D

The squatting one takes a bit of practice (so I've heard).

I was once having my breakfast on a street when a woman and a little boy walked by - he said something to her, she proceeded to put a bit of newspaper on the floor, he did his 'business' and she rolled it up and off they walked.  ???

If the old lady in this article had one pound for every time the DM used her image, she'd be a very rich lady by now!  ;)
