Title: Desert plant adaptations
Post by: Kim on January 11, 2017, 01:59:59 PM
Sorry to be a pain but can anyone suggest any video clips that I could show to help with this? Also has anyone got suggestions of how to make it really engaging. I was going to design a plant but students have already designed a rainforest animal. many thanks.

There are a couple of sections in the desert episode of planet earth that mention plants in deserts. The Atacama desert mists and nevada cacti I think. Cannot find the individual clips

Does anyone find that these topics end up getting covered by Science in their school?  I've had it happen a  couple of times which is really frustrating.
